Last update

OK folks, it looks like the McKeesport bridge will be closed this weekend, but the newly opened Riverton bridge is open, solely for bikes and peds. To get there head over the bridge into Mckeesport after the trail from Boston ends, turn left onto Walnut St/48. Right onto Lysle Blvd at the T.

Once on Lysle Blvd, take the first left at the big parking garage onto Locust St and head towards the river. There are a few GAP (Great Allegheny Passage) signs and a big green bike banner at the intersection. The trail restarts a few hundred yards in, and will lead to the Riverton Bridge. After you cross the river things are hit and miss for the trail, and some time will be spent on 837. Stay safe!

There will be some folks to start the ride Friday morning, the plan is still to be rolling at 5 or a few minutes after.

If you'd like, call me when you finish, or email. Or text me updates. I might try to update the blog as the ride progresses.

That's about it. Good luck.
